Dear traveler, welcome aboard. Fasten your apron — not your seatbelt — because your
Argentine culinary journey is about to take off. The flight begins with a homemade welcome
picada while we tell you the story of Argentine cuisine.

Then, we roll up our sleeves and cook a four-course local menu, which includes a snack, appetizer, main course, and dessert. Yes, we complement the menu with Mendoza wines especially paired.

During the experience, not only will we learn how to prepare traditional recipes, but also about their history and origin.

Finally, following our customs, we will share everything we cooked sitting around our table, in an intimate and cozy atmosphere where you can meet travelers from all around the world, and, why not? Make new journey friends.

Frequently asked questions

In which days and hours may I book the experience?

Pachamama Argentine Cooking Experience takes place from Monday to Friday, from 11 am to 2:00 pm. If you wish to book the experience on holidays or weekends, an additional fee will be applied, and it can only be arranged with a prior reservation of 7 days.

Where does the experience take place? The address is Benjamín Matienzo 1559, Palermo.

What is included in the classes?

Our experience includes everything necessary (raw materials, utensils, aprons during the experience), tasting of everything cooked with wine pairings, home-made lemonade and water.

Is the class conducted in Spanish or only in English?

The class is conducted in English, so we recommend participants to have a good understanding of the language. Private experiences can be held in Spanish.

If I have dietary restrictions, can the menu be adapted?

Yes, the menu can be adapted to offer a vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free menu.

Can the experience duration be adapted?

Yes, we can adapt the experiences to a 2 or 3 hour experience.

Can children participate in the experience?

The whole family can enjoy the experience as it is a participatory activity for all students. Children from the age of 4 onwards are charged the full fee.

Are the classes shared with other travellers?

Yes, classes are regular and can accommodate up to 12 people. We offer the option for individuals to join and share the experience or book as a private group.

Can I book a private experience? What is the capacity?

Yes, we accept reservations for private groups. In these cases, you can choose to have the class in Spanish or English. Our space can accommodate up to 18 people. Exceeding this limit, you can reserve another fully equipped space with a capacity of up to 40 people. The minimum for private groups is 8 people; if the number is lower, the equivalent of the number must be paid.

What is the payment method?

To join our experience, you can book directly on our website www.pachamamaexperience.com, and use debit or credit card. For private experiences, once we know the date and number of people, the event is confirmed with 30% and the rest of the payment should be made up to 5 days prior to the event. Payments in USD can be made by Paypal, Payoneer, bank transfer or in USD cash. (In pesos we take into account dolar blue sell option of the day).

What is the cancellation policy?

We will refund you if it’s done 2 days before the date of the experience. Refunds won´t be made for cancellations within the 2 days prior to the event.
